The best time to take pictures is during golden hour and it's no joke! We recently had a photoshoot that lasted several hours and the best photos were taken during golden hour. We just love the bronze makeup look because it makes our pictures look a bit more glamorous and golden hour gives us that extra bronze touch we always desire to have. In order for your photo to look more interesting you should position yourself near a body of water. You can either be near the beach, a lake, or even a pool. The importance of being near water during golden hour is that it compliments the colors of the background. It's important not to overdo the gold in pictures because it will turn weird in a blink of an eye. In regards to fashion, golden hour is the perfect time to layer clothes and make a statement! Our advice to you is to mix prints, layer your clothes, and play around with different colors.

Thankful and accomplished are two major words that describe my current mood. With just a few weeks away from my college graduation, I sit and reflect upon every moment of my life and there are no regrets. I'm one of those people that believes you should not conform to a basic life and that you should attempt to do what you dream of doing. If you want to achieve your goals, you need to speak up, dedicate time to do what you love, and know that even if you fail you at least gave it a try. When I decided to start a fashion blog I would have never imagined that 7 years later I would be evolving it into a fashion/entertainment website and be lucky enough to be able to work with so many talented and inspirational people. Having the privilege of working in Hollywood is a wonderful experience and on a daily basis, I find inspiration for my ambition of becoming a fashion entrepreneur. While still in college I sometimes face challenges of deciding if I should attend an event with high-end designers or go to class and take notes. If you're wondering what I decided, you should know that I always made school my priority. Therefore, my advice for my youngest readers is to stay in school and go as far as possible with your studies. There is nothing more interesting than a person who can combine their daily experiences and new skills with their education. Sure you will feel you absolutely need to go to parties, but just remember that if you focus on achieving your goal you can party like a cooler kid later. To my older readers, if there is one piece of advice you feel you can take from this 22-year-old is the idea of not giving up on accomplishing a goal you lost in the middle of chaos. Have you always dreamt of speaking several languages? Do it!

Dressing up is an entire creative process, especially when you have an important meeting to attend. In the fashion industry when you are required to attend an interview or a business meeting you should never wear serious clothes. Be cautious of what the occasion is but keep in mind you will probably meet another person in the fashion industry and your look is the first thing you will be graded on. Keep things fun, modern, and appropriate! We personally don't see a fashion relationship going further when somebody wears a blazer, pants, and a pair of loafers. Think outside the box and remember that looks can be a factor in determining the status of your next business decision.
Today's look is very casual and ideal for a cool beach day. I spent my Sunday at the beach having lunch and shopping along the coast. I combined a graphic tee with a pair of denim shorts and accessorized my look with a pair of sungalsses and handmade bracelets. I decided to wear sneakers to give my outfit some edginess.
Top: Cotton On
Shorts: Old Navy

Spring season has officially arrived and we have to tell you what the color of the season is! You may possess some must-have color selections in your wardrobe, but you should consider wearing bold colors that highlight your daily outfits. The color of the season is emerald green and what better way of wearing such a beautiful color than by combining it with your favorites. Currently, our favorite combination of colors is emerald green with black! Our fashion guru, Alejandra Moraco is wearing the color duo. This combination brings a streak of elegance with a side of fierce.
We want to know what your favorite Spring colors are. Tag us on social media with your Spring looks!!
From the capital of Botswana, Alejandra Moraco checks in with us! She tells us that she loves the fashion in Gaborone because it is very rich in detail and patterns. She tells us that every garment is unique in its own way because the vivid colors blend in with patterns and altogether make a fascinating and inspiring look.
Inspired by the vibrant colors we see Alejandra wearing a lovely mini red dress with white pockets. She paired her look with some aviator sunglasses and a handbag. To add some pattern to her look she wore a colorful pair of sandal heels.
We know all our fashion dolls miss Alejandra and we do too!! Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media to keep up with her fashion updates.
Too often we overthink our outfit choices on a rainy day. Dressing up on a daily basis is a struggle and adding inclement weather doesn't help at all. As a matter of fact, most people would rather stay home and not get into the hassle of looking for the perfect rainy day look.
Today, I want to tell you that living in San Diego has taught me to relax on the rain stress and not overthink my outfit choices. We have had rainy days galore and I want to share my styling tips with you.
First, we need to get rid of the negative mood towards the rain. We have to accept the fact that the rain isn't going anywhere. Secondly, we must admit that the rain makes things a little bit edgier yet sometimes fun. For example, taking a picture of your outfit outside on a rainy day will highlight that rocker chic side you hardly ever show.
In addition, I suggest you go out and purchase at least two different pairs of rain boots. I currently bought a short animal print rain bootie from Steve Madden and a longer rain boot from Nordstrom. When I feel like going casual for school or to run errands I go with rain boots and a pair of leggings or animal print pants. I also like to wear sweatshirts or long sleeve shirts with hoodies on them. However, if I plan on going out or have a business meeting I will go with wearing black jeans, patent leather boots, a black shirt, and a oversized furry coat.
Rainy days are fun and make fashion cool if you know how to style properly. My number one styling tip for rainy days is to layer up! Layering looks cool, plus you can always take of a piece of clothing when you feel warm.
I'm always curious about your style! Tag me on social media so I can check out your stylish looks and like them. @fashionggw
