There is nothing wrong with leggings but I really dislike seeing people wear them all season long. Jeans are very casual, nonetheless we can dress them up and still look dashing. For that reason, we came up with 10 ideas that work well when wanting to upgrade a denim look for a semi-formal occasion.
Yvanna. xX Cheers to breezy days! We finally got that Fall/Winter vibe weather in California. We are currently experiencing rain, cloudy days, and chilly mornings. Prior to the beginning of Autumn, I stocked up on Fall essentials such as sweaters, vests, boots, bomber jackets, and other exciting Fall must-haves. However, due to the lack of breezy days I wasn't able to fully wear all my purchases, but now that we offically have received such a glorious weather I must update you on my style. I must admit I love leggings but sometimes I feel they are way too casual for certain looks, therefore I always buy a pair of jeans that make my outfit casual but not overly casual. Anyway, I went out for lunch with a friend to Little Italy in San Diego and decided to wear my first Fall/Winter inspired outfit. My look consisted of a pair of brown boots I bought at a boutique inside the mall at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a pair of ripped jeans I got from Macy's, a dark green cropped BCBG jacket, and a chunky sweater top from H&M. To give my look that bit of downtown chic I accessorized by using a plastic handbag from Bloomingdales, my ultimate favorite letter necklace from Topshop, and a pair of sunglasses from ZeroUV.
I want to see you your favorite Fall/Winter look on social media! Make sure to tag me @fashionggw :) Barby McQueen (Yvanna) Hey Guys! I hope your weekend was as marvelous as mine was. I managed to get an entire Sunday to relax and spend the day with my pups. Prior to my cheerful Sunday, I spent most of my Saturday at StyleCon. It was my first time at this event and I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know other bloggers + vloggers and being introduced to very cool brands. My favorite part of the event was the possibility of being able to instantly shop what you saw. I will show you what I got this week on another article!
I was so happy Microsoft was there to inform us about their new computers because I feel my MacBook Pro will soon have to be shut down after suffering cardiac arrest. I use my computer 24/7 and I'm not surprised when I see funky glitches happening on my laptop. The people at the Microsoft booth were super sweet and so helpful that at the end of our chat I finally made my decision about which computer I want to buy next. Their new Surface Book is totally awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Plus, it detaches from the keyboard so I can literally use it on the go! I invite you to follow me on Instagram and check out exclusive pictures of my adventures during StyleCon and much more! P.S. write to me and say what fun activities you did this weekend or if you were at StyleCon let me know what you thought about it. I always love to read anything you have to say! Yvanna. xX BarbyM Time to decorate your old denim jackets and make them très chic! There are so many choices when it comes to decorating clothing. A few articles ago, I talked about spray painting a pair of jeans, now I'm going to tell you about decorating your old denim jackets and make them pop. I recently ran into a store called The Cobra Shop and besides the really cool clothes - they have some pretty rad iron on patches. I was looking for a certain color iron on patch that would go with some patches I bought at a farmers market and luckily The Cobra Shop had an LV patch with the perfect color. I grabbed an old denim jacket that I have used several times and to make it cool I decorated it with the patches. For a fuller decorated denim jacket you can add pins and glitter. I haven't found a store that sells cool pins, but as soon as I do find it I will update you!
Barby. xX Sunny with a chance of keeping it fabulous! What are you favorite types of sunglasses? We have a list of the different styles and what face shapes are ideal for them.

Happy Friday! So, yes! In California we are practically living the Fall season in a Summer climate. We occasionally get a few clouds with a bit of a breeze but seriously when exactly will I be able to wear a long coat and scarf? Nevertheless, the warm weather doesn't stop us from wearing cool printed jeans.
Hello my stylish darlings! I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. On Sunday, I went to the 'Little Italy Festa' in San Diego. My plan was to go get a pistachio cannoli, but the sad part was I never found one that didn't have chocolate chips! I still need to find a place that sells a variety of cannoli flavors in California. But anyways, from all the amazing little things you could buy and eat, by far my favorite was the 'gesso Italiano' (Italian chalk) art. I liked two of these chalk paintings and there was one I totally fell in love with! The chalk street art created by Carlos Alberto Cortez Gomez and Monica Gasca was literally my obsession of the day. Sponsored by H.G. Fenton Company, the chalk art was phenomenal and exquisite. There was so much detail and color put into this masterpiece and I just wish this was made into a rug!!
Check out my Instagram to see more pictures of the festival! xX Oh, we adore them but how painful can they be!! Whether we wear stilettos, wedges, or pumps our feet will look fantastic all day and night but on the inside we may feel sore. Usually the first 5 hours of wearing heels are fine, but in cases were events last longer than 5 hours – when we get home our feet are crying! Last week, we had events were sitting was minimum – so we found a perfect solution to look fantastic and feel fabulous afterwards.
