Let's transport back to the 1920's and bring back several things. Fringe, for instance makes dressing up a fun deed. The good news is that fringe is here to stay and fashion week just proved it!
Special thanks to Photographer: Shanon Berlin Gunter for the fabulous images!!
With designers such as Valentino, fringe has made it's way back into the world of fashion and we couldn't be any happier about it. Fringe can be found on skirts, leather jackets, and pants but hardly do we ever see it on a simple top. I own several fringed dresses and turned one of them into a top. I added a pair of leather pants and heels to make it a bit more modern and bring out the edginess. I didn't want to make this outfit the 'all black look' so I added a gold vintage Chanel necklace. Altogether, if you own a fringed dress all you have to do is pair it with some cool pants or fun skirt.
I adore the 1920's era because of the formal fashion wear and how fun the time seemed. It would be nice to see the fashion world bring back more than just the fringed wear. I would love to see people wear garden hats, turbans and oxford bags. My biggest desire is to see formality be brought back to reality and not see so much products of fast fashion.
I hope you find inspiration from this 1920's inspired article!
